How We Create Your Street Map Necklace

Each map is made in solid cast sterling silver and engraved to order. They take about 2–3 days to make (depending on whether you want a proof or not). We create the design from our own bespoke version of Google Maps, cropped nicely to fit your pendant. The reverse side can be engraved with a personal message.

• If you want to check your map before we make it, we can send a mockup first — please select this from the drop-down list and add your email details. Proofs may delay your order if we don’t get a quick reply. We’re happy to work with you to make changes before we make it.
• Matte finish is brushed silver, polished is shiny, oxidised has darkened engraving (note: wide streets may not appear as dark as narrower streets).
• The simplified map is oriented True North and will contain surrounding roads.
• Each map will appear different depending on the location and pendant size you choose.
• We can add water texture for oceans and rivers if you’d like more detail in your design.

How We Make It

Each pendant is cast from solid sterling silver with a curved front surface raising to over 2mm thick, measuring 23mm across with a flat back, and weighing approximately 7.5g. This substantial, fully hallmarked pendant features a built-in bale for superior durability and a luxurious feel.

This is the premium cast version of our best-selling street maps. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, our classic flat disc version is also available.

Trace, ball chain or curb chain necklaces are all made from sterling silver. Chains measure from 1.1mm thick.
